Jay Asparro started training for the 5th Annual Ann Asparro Winter Half Marathon Challenge on December 24, 2024:

“On Sunday February 16th (historically one of the coldest days), I’ll be running 13.1 miles wearing shorts, T-Shirt, Gloves and a Neck Warmer.

To train, I’ll be running 2 days a week, a minimum of 4 miles, and in this same gear or lack of gear.

I’m training to be comfortable while in uncomfortable situations (like 7 marathons in 7 days or a 100 mile run on a track).

Do the HARD things in life and life becomes EASY.

You can join me on Feb 16th in person or virtually, if you are up for this Winter Challenge.”
