I Run For Ukraine VIRTUAL

The I Run For Ukraine VIRTUAL is a chance across the United States to let our running & fitness send a message of love and caring to the Ukrainian people and raise funds to ease their burden.

In 2022, as the world watched the worsening crisis taking place, runners were invited to be a part of the solution.
They encouraged virtual runs from March 8th – May 7th so people had 2 months to register and complete whatever mileage they wished to complete.

They could run, walk, swim or cycle 44km (27.3 miles) or choose another distance that fitted their schedule and fitness level (4.4km, 44 miles, 444km (273 miles)). They could complete this as one run or break it up into smaller segments to reach your distance. Every kilometer sent a shot of love to the struggling 44 million citizens of Ukraine.

What started as a solo initiative, has turned into an app where people can sign up as a team or individually.
