More than a race, this is a festival of running.
We hire out our own private tea plantation to ensure some of the finest trails and views of the outrageous views of the Great Rift Valley. This is a serious running challenge that will push you to dig deep.

There is no other race in Kenya like this one-of-a-kind route off-the-tourist-track through stunning scenery, gentle hills, tea plantations and the villages where Five Talents UK works.

You are taken from track sessions with elite athletes to community engagement with the exact projects that your fundraising supports.

Running with the Kenyans
We will take you right into the heart of the Kenyan running machine – with track sessions, dawn runs and a race day where the best runners in the world will not sprint into the distance, but instead, run beside you and pace you to your finishing line moment.

Run through the magical tea plantations of Kenya. The course presents a brutal challenge as you climb to altitudes of over 2300m whilst running a truly testing trail.

There are three distances to choose from, so if a full marathon (42k) isn’t your style, we also offer half marathon (21k) and 10k options. Whichever option you choose, whether you run or walk, you’ll be part of a diverse group of people from the UK, Kenya, and the rest of the world.

Your time on the course will be punctuated by the elite Kenyan runners who join us not to sprint into the distance, but to run beside you. Running together. With others, for others.

42km
It’s not every day you get to run a 42km with the most dominant runners at that distance you can find anywhere in the world.

This is a 4 lap course around the most magical, surreal tea plantations in the world – with a high point that rewards you with the entire panorama of the Great Rift Valley.

The spirit of the event is to celebrate the unity that running brings, and as you pace your way around the course with the elite runners supporting you, it really is the epitome of Running Together. With others, for others.

21km
Two laps of this surreal course await you. The mixture of trail, with dirt tracks with a bit of road – and a lot of tea – makes this an engrossing run.

It’s a normal working day in the plantations so you will be greeted with the smiles and cheers of the tea pickers as you work your way around.

Once you are finished, we have a phenomenal spread lined up with classic Kenyan dishes and a party atmosphere to cheer all our new runners in.

10km
The way to kick off your Kenyan running career. One perfect loop of our incredible race course (don’t tell anyone, but it’s actually 11km, so even more bang for your buck).

You get to see all the highlights that make this one of our most spectacular courses so you should feel free to simply enjoy each turn and vista along the way.

The Impact
Empowering women across East Africa through modern, hybrid form of microfinance.
We will be visiting and meeting the very people who’s lives you are changing so you can completely see, feel and understand your impact.

If you don’t know much about the ingenious system of microfinance to sustainably change lives, this trip is for you.
Also a great opportunity to extend your adventure with a safari trip or climbing the Kilimanjaro.
