Shanghai is a popular tourist destination and China’s biggest city and global financial hub. Its heart is the Bund, a famed waterfront promenade lined with colonial-era buildings.
Across the Huangpu River rises the Pudong district’s futuristic skyline, including 632m Shanghai Tower and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Other highlights are the Lujiazui skyline, skyscrapers, and major museums including the Shanghai Museum and the China Art Museum.

Historical landmarks are City God Temple and Yu Garden with traditional pavilions, towers and ponds.
