Bernard Genge delivers personal resolve/resilience training/coaching which includes developing physical, emotional and psychological strength and long-term resilience.
As a former medic in the Royal Navy he became fascinated both during and at the conclusion of the Falklands conflict about why people respond differently to the traumas of life, and this shaped his future career in psychology.
On leaving the Navy, he worked in the corporate healthcare sector, progressing into sales management and taking responsibility for the development of competent sales staff. In 2001, he started work as a freelance leadership and management trainer and success/performance coach, and later in 2007, he established ProAction Development CIC to coincide with the publication of his first book, “10 Actions to Transform Your Life” – a cognitive behaviour personal development book.
Running has given him a perfect platform to put theory into practice.
In his local gym they have a machine called a Tanita (which is independently recognised to be within +/- 2- 3% of DEXA the gold standard for body composition measurement), which records his metabolic age to be 45, while his biological age is 62.
